OROP | Ex-servicemen meet Defence Minister, hope for early announcement

A delegation of ex-servicemen led by General (Retired) Satbir Singh met Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Saturday to discuss the OROP issue. Singh said that the Defence Minister has agreed to the broad perspectives under OROP demand adding that he is likely to make an announcement soon. Singh also stated that the protesting servicemen will give their statement after going through Parrikar's statement.
