Iran strikes back Trump harder than expected? Araghchi credits Khamenei’s command after Israel war

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has praised the country’s strength and unity in the aftermath of the 12-day Iran-Israel war, declaring it a major victory for Tehran. The statement came shortly after Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei issued a stern ultimatum to U.S. President Donald Trump, warning Washington against further aggression. Araghchi said what began as an enemy demand for “unconditional surrender” ended in a plea for an “unconditional ceasefire,” crediting Iran’s leadership, military readiness, and national cohesion for forcing the shift.
