CWC Meeting: Congress reviews big defeat in LS polls

Senior Congress leaders assembled at the party's Working Committee meeting in New Delhi. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, P. Chidambaram, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mallikarjun Kharge and Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh were among those who attended the met. Congress party reviewed the outcome of the Lok Sabha polls where it won only 52 seats. Four senior state level leaders have already resigned after the poll debacle. Ahead of the meet, Congress leaders rejected speculation of Rahul Gandhi's resignation.
