U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to visit India on July 28. During his visit, he will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar & NSA Ajit Doval. The situation in Afghanistan & its implications for India will reportedly be on top of the agenda during Blinken’s 2-day visit among other things. India will continue to ask U.S. to put pressure on Pakistan to not finance terror activities and groups. The countries will also discuss Covid vaccine partnership.
