India has fast-tracked the building of strategic projects near the Line of Actual Control (LAC). According to U.S.-based The Diplomat magazine, New Delhi has ramped up building border infrastructure in recent years despite China's objections to the plans. The report cited an official from the Indian Ministry of Defence. The defence official told the magazine that India refuses to be intimidated by Chinese objections to its plans regarding border infrastructure. The MoD official said that Beijing will have to learn to accept India's roads and rails near LAC.
