External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visits Abu Dhabi's first Hindu temple site. The Minister described it as 'a symbol of peace, tolerance and harmony'. He also met Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Co-existence and lauded the UAE government's strong support for the Indian community. The project which is under-construction will be the first Hindu temple in UAE's capital. The Abu Dhabi temple will come up on 55,000 square metres of land. The structure will be hand-carved by Indian temple artisans and assembled in the UAE. It will be the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the Middle East. Not just in Abu Dhabi but Dubai too is all set to get its first Hindu temple this Dussehra. Watch this report for more.
