PM calls for fight against extremism, wants SCO to rope in moderate Muslims

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday called on SCO nations to fight against extremism and radicalism in the region. The prime minister addressed the 21st SCO summit virtually and termed the peace, security and trust-deficit a challenge. The prime minister said that the recent events in Afghanistan have increased the security challenges and asked SCO nations to frame a template to fight extremism.
