Watch: Sand turns black at Mumbai’s Juhu beach following an oil spill

An oil spill turned the sand at Mumbai’s Juhu beach black. Locals first saw the changed colour of the sand when they came for their morning walk. According to reports, approximately 5 kilometers of sand at the famous beach has turned black due to the oil spill. The reasons of the spill however are still unknown but the Mayor of Mumbai has said that the administration will inspect the site. The BMC reportedly cleaned the beach after the incident.
