A touching video of a peacock’s farewell to its long time friend after death is going viral on the internet. Ram Swarup Bishnoi, an animal lover from Rajasthan’s Kuchera Town, who runs a small rescue centre said that 2-3 peacocks have been staying with him for the past few years, “They are like family, we eat & stay together,” he said. Bishnoi added, “A few days back, one of the peacocks died of old age. The other peacocks mourned, one of them followed us when we carried the carcass for cremation and stayed there till the very end.” Watch the full video for more.
