Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow is open to any additional participants who can make a “positive contribution” to negotiations aimed at resolving the Ukraine conflict. Speaking in Bishkek, Putin said the negotiating process is currently “to some extent frozen” but stressed that Russia wants talks to have concrete substance. He also praised U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, calling them trusted and welcome guests in Moscow. Putin said direct contacts between Russia and the United States continue, including between security officials, while emphasising the importance of trust in any future negotiations.
