Panama Launches Operation Steel Shield, Deploys Over 700 Personnel to Colombia Border

Panama has launched Operation Steel Shield, deploying more than 700 National Border Service personnel to strategic locations along its border with Colombia. Authorities say the operation aims to strengthen border security, block threats and work with communities in the Darién region.
