Associations are hijacked by politicians: Pappu pehlwan

An athlete who has brought international laurels to the nation has been reduced to working as a daily labour with wages of Rs.200 a day. This is something that has pained the sports world after hearing the tale of Santhi Soundarajan. Wrestler Pappu Yadav who has been an Olympian too feels that the Federation is responsible for such a condition of a player. Yadav expresses his anguish stating that it is sad that politicians and not sportspersons are calling the shots in associations.
