The Cricket Club of India has decided not to host the Indian Premier League matches since none of its members are being allowed to watch the matches free of cost. According to senior members of the CCI, the IPL wanted the entire stadium for the matches but refused to allow club members to watch the matches. CCI has a capacity to accommodate approximately 31,000 and the club had asked for the Club House and the children's enclosure which would have been ten per cent of the total capacity.
