Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar expressed his happiness to play for Kolkata franchise under the Indian Premier League or IPL. Kolkata franchise bought by Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, got Akhtar for $425,000 million. Meanwhile, former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin also hailed the concept of IPL and called it a boon for young players. However Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray is visibly upset with the concept of IPL.
