Trump drops blunt verdict on China at Davos, then goes on to blast Europe’s windmill obsession

In a fiery Davos speech, Donald Trump mocked Europe’s “loser” windmills, claiming “stupid people buy them” while “smart” China just makes and sells them, then bragged that US oil output is up 730,000 barrels a day and that Washington just took 50 million barrels from Venezuela to “split” as Caracas “makes more money in six months than in 20 years.” He then hailed what he calls the fastest economic turnaround in US history: stagflation “defeated, borders" impenetrable,” 52 stock market records and up to $20 trillion in new investment.
