Trump left scrambling as IDF sends hundreds of troops into Tubas in biggest West Bank assault

Hundreds of Israeli soldiers, supported by armored vehicles, carried out large-scale raids in the Palestinian town of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank on November 26. According to the IDF, the operation involved army, police, and intelligence units and was aimed at countering terrorism. The raids targeted attempts to establish militant strongholds, with troops conducting searches in homes across the area. During the operation, the IDF reportedly uncovered an “observational control room” linked to militant activity. This marks the largest military deployment in the West Bank since the Gaza ceasefire.
