The electoral battlefield of Uttar Pradesh is known for its caste arithmetic and whoever masters it, wins the mandate to govern the state. This time around it is no different. The Samajwadi party has ditched the AJGAR (an alliance made of Ahir, Jat, Gurjar & Rajput communities) strategy and has decided to rely on GAJAB equation (Gurjars, Ahirs (Yadavs), Jats & Brahmins).
