Can Xi Jinping-Putin bonhomie pose a challenge to the West?

Russia, China come together to block ‘aggressive’ rhetoric from the West and NATO. Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping hailed the nations’ strengthening ties amid tensions with the West. Putin declared Russia-China relations ‘a proper example of interstate cooperation’. The two leaders held a virtual summit as both countries deal with troubled relations with the West. Both nations were left out of Biden’s Summit for Democracy earlier this month.
