As Israel prepares for the ground invasion of Rafah in Gaza, it has been reported that senior Israeli security officials were working around the clock Sunday to calm Egyptian concerns. Rafah borders Egypt and is the only entry point of Gaza that is not controlled by Israel. Channel 12 news reported Sunday evening that senior officials from the Mossad spy agency, the Shin Bet security agency and the Israel Defense Forces had been in contact with their Egyptian counterparts to allay their concerns.
