Jeff Sessions arrives home after resigning as US Attorney General

Former US Attorney General Jeff Sessions arrived at his home in Washington, DC on Wednesday evening hours after resigning from his post at President Donald Trump's request. Sessions announced his plan to leave the Justice Department in a letter to the White House on Wednesday. Sessions' chief of staff Matt Whitaker was appointed the acting attorney general in a tweet by Trump.
