Kim Jong-un supervises simulated nuke strikes to 'wipe out' enemies

North Korean said leader Kim Jong Un oversaw the launch of two long-range cruise missiles. Pyongyang called it a test to confirm the reliability and operation of nuclear-capable weapons deployed to military units. Wednesday's test launch is the latest in the record number of weapons demonstrations by North Korea that has taken place this year . It has only punctuated the reclusive state's threats to preemptively use nuclear weapons against South Korea and the United States if it perceives its leadership as under threat.
