Hamas has reportedly revealed for the first time the numbers of militants killed in Gaza since the beginning of the war last year. A Hamas official based in Qatar told Reuters that the group estimates around 6000 militant fatalities in Gaza, which is half the number of operatives that Israel claimed it killed so far. The Gaza militant group, however, said that its fighters were still fighting tooth and nail, adding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s objectives against Hamas are far from achieved.
