‘One-in-a-million’: British Airways aircraft hit by block of ice at 35,000 feet

A British Airways flight had to make an emergency landing after a freak accident mid-air on Christmas day. The accident occurred at 35,000 feet after a block of ice hit the windscreen of the flight. Reports said the block of ice from a jet flying about 1,000 feet above cracked the windscreen. Around 200 passengers were aboard the British Airways aircraft when the accident took place. All passengers and crew safely deboarded the aircraft as it made an emergency landing at San Jose airport. Passengers were travelling to London's Gatwick International airport from San Jose in Costa Rica on Christmas day. Watch the full video for more.
