On Sunday, private pictures, videos and alleged voice recordings of the Pakistan cricket team captain were leaked online that left netizens stunned. In a video, Azam was allegedly seen sexting with the girlfriend of another Pakistani cricketer. While the controversy raged online, some of Babar Azam's fans called it a targeted campaign aimed at defaming him. Azam's captaincy is also under lens after Pakistan's recent loss to New Zealand. Speculation is rife that he could be replaced by left-hand opener Shan Masood. Reports say, the 28-year-old will no longer be all-format captain and will be stripped off test captaincy first.
