Russian president Vladimir Putin lashed out at "hypocritical" U.S.-led West and snubbed his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky. At a Russia-Africa Summit, Putin announced that free grain of up to 50,000 tonnes will be provided to six African countries over the next 3-4 months. He said that Russia has the ability to replace Ukrainian grain supplies. His assurance came as he refused to re-join the Black Sea grain deal, over which the West has termed him irresponsible.
