The Kremlin has announced to suspend exports of rice until the end of 2023. The Russian Government said that the move is aimed at stabilising the domestic market. However, the decision is not applicable to members of the Eurasian Economic Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan), or South Ossetia and Abkhazia. This comes after India announced a similar ban on rice export earlier this week.
