Indian President in Bhutan to attend coronation of new king

President Pratibha Devisingh Patil arrived in Bhutan on Wednesday to attend the coronation ceremony of Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk as the tiny Himalayan nation's fifth king. Patil, who is on a four-day visit to the country, was received by reigning King Jigme Singye Wangchuk and Bhutanese Prime Minister Jigme Thinley at the Paro airport and accorded a warm reception. Patil will be the guest of honour at the coronation ceremony.
