Syrian opposition appeals for international support

Following the conclusion of the international "Friends of Syria" meeting in the Tunisian capital Tunis on Friday, the head of the main opposition Syrian National Council (SNC), Burhan Ghalioun, said the meeting had fallen short of the Syrian people's aspirations. Ghalioun also said that support did not mean asking other nations to help fight the Assad regime.
