Egypt’s state-run Qahera TV has claimed that Israel-Hamas truce will take effect at 10 a.m. (0800 GMT) Thursday.
Some of the hostages being held by Hamas, are citizens of the U.S., Thailand, Britain, France, Argentina, Germany, Chile, Spain and Portugal. According to a report by Reuters, up to 40 hostages being held are children, including a 10-month-old baby and preschoolers.
