Prince Harry Memoir Spare: Harry said that Prince William was deeply worried that Harry was being “brainwashed” by his therapist.

As claims made by Prince Harry in his new memoir ‘Spare’ continue to trickle him, details of his relationship with his brother Prince William and how it unravelled have also been revealed by the Duke of Sussex. Prince Harry said that Prince William was deeply worried that Harry was being “brainwashed” by his therapist adding that William reached a point where he couldn’t “relate to” or “tolerate” him.

In an excerpt from Spare published on The Sun website, Prince Harry explained the details surrounding William’s fears about him. Recounting an instance from 2019, Prince Harry said that when he became overwhelmed at the 2019 WellChild awards ceremony, William texted him to say he was concerned about Harry’s mental health. Following this, the brothers had an argument, Harry claimed.

“In fact, he’d recently told me he wanted to accompany me to a session because he suspected I was being ‘brainwashed,'” Prince Harry wrote. According to Prince Harry, William believed he “was unwell” when he and Meghan Markle planned to step down from their royal duties because Prince William thought his mental health “meant I was unwise” to leave the UK, Prince Harry wrote.

“After months of therapy, after working hard to become more aware, more independent, I was a stranger to my older brother. He could no longer relate to me — tolerate me. Or maybe it was just the stress of the last few years, the last few decades, finally pouring out,” Prince Harry wrote in the memoir.
