Baltimore shooting suspect: Chilling details out as cop wounded in ‘active shooting’ incident near synagogue

A Baltimore Police officer and a suspect were shot during an active shooter situation on Tuesday afternoon, CBS News reported, citing officials.

This incident took place in the 6200 block of Park Heights Avenue, in proximity to the Agudath Israel of Baltimore synagogue, at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The officer was transported to Shock Trauma, while the current condition of the suspect remains unknown.

'All involved members are in good spirts,' says city's Fraternal Order of Police

The Baltimore Police union acknowledged the shooting and stated, “all involved members are in good spirits.”

“We are aware of the police involved shooting in the NWD,” the Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police wrote on X.

“President Mancuso and State Trustee Cohen are at homicide with our involved members while Guard Glazerman is at Shock Trauma,” the organization stated. “All involved members are in good spirits.”

Authorities are requesting that people refrain from entering the nearby areas and have stated that additional information will be shared as it becomes accessible.
