Clinton leads Trump by 11 points in Pennsylvania, nine points in Michigan and 15 points in New Hampshire in polls released Thursday. And she is ahead by 10 points nationally.
Not all numbers have been bad for Trump, however. With his party, he raised $82 million in July, just a little short of Clinton’s $90 million, mostly through small donations. He might like to go after her poll numbers now, or so his advisers and Republican officials will wish.
Trump has frustrated them recently with his spat with parents of a fallen Muslim American soldier, and refusal to endorse senior party leaders such as Paul Ryan seeking re-election.
