Thisara whacks it hard, but he cannot time it well. The ball slows up as it comes to him and he can only bunt it straight to the man at cover

And off he goes! Hands aloft, big smile on his face after a big googly skirts through the bat and pad gap. Kapu was all at sea. He walks off feigning the googly’s release, but he did not pick it. His front foot did not reach far enough across because in T20, hitters prefer room. This was the wrong ball to be doing such antics.
