Bombs targeting paramilitary kill 11 in Pakistan: police

Twin bomb attacks targeting a paramilitary training centre in northwest Pakistan today killed eleven people including seven paramilitary personnel and wounded 31 others, police said.

Twin bomb attacks targeting a paramilitary training centre in northwest Pakistan on Friday killed eleven people including seven paramilitary personnel and wounded 31 others, police said.

"There were two bomb blasts. Eleven people, including seven paramilitary personnel, are among the dead," Jahanzeb Khan, a senior police officer in the Shabqadar area of Charsadda district where the attack took place, told AFP.

Nisar Khan Marwat, police chief for Charsadda district, confirmed the toll.
