Lydia who was earlier linked to British comedian Rusell Brand was photographed wearing a red beret with one fist on her hip and the other outstretched in homage to her legendary grandfather.

PETA had approached Lydia for the campaign, it's first in South America, after coming to know that she is a vegetarian.

The campaign with the tag line 'Join the vegetarian revolution' will be launched first in Argentina, where Che Guevara was born, and then internationally.

Che Guevara was a Marxist leader who played a pivotal role in Fidel Castro's rise to power in Cuba. He was executed by the CIA in Bolivia in 1967.
