At least 10 people were electrocuted on Saturday after being hit by electrical wires severed by stormy weather.

Ten others died when the roofs of their homes collapsed in the country's biggest city, said Mohib Ali, a senior police official.

Rescuers were facing problems in transporting the dead and injured to hospitals because of flooded roads, he said.

"So far at least 20 people have died because of the rains and storm related incidents," Ali said.
