Iran’s N-scientist defected to CIA

An Iranian nuclear scientist, who has been missing since June last from Saudi Arabia, has defected to the US and is helping in CIA’s operation against Tehran’s nuclear programme.

An Iranian nuclear scientist, who has been missing since June last from Saudi Arabia, has defected to the US and is helping in CIA’s operation against Tehran’s nuclear programme.

Shahram Amiri, an award-winning nuclear physicist, has been settled in the US, ABC News reported quoting people briefed on the operation by intelligence officials. The officials were said to have termed the defection of the scientist, “an intelligence coup”.
