Four men convicted of a conspiracy to bomb London's public transport system in July 2005 were jailed for life on Wednesday, with the judge setting them a minimum term of 40 years.

The four -- Muktar Said Ibrahim, Yassin Omar, Ramzi Mohammed, and Hussain Osman -- were found guilty Monday over a failed bid to set off four bombs in London on July 21, 2005, two weeks after suicide bombings which killed 56.
