Mandela son-in-law to face extradition to US
A son-in-law of former South African President Nelson Mandela will face an extradition hearing after being charged with rape in the US state of Connecticut, an Interpol official said today.

A son-in-law of former South African President Nelson Mandela will face an extradition hearing after being charged with rape in the US state of Connecticut, an Interpol official said on Tuesday.
Isaac Amuah was granted 500,000 rand ($73,320) bail on Monday after turning himself over to police in South Africa, said Interpol spokeswoman Tummi Shai.
"He is going appear on February 11 for an extradition proceedings because America wants him extradited back to America," she told Reuters.
Amuah was charged with raping a US woman in 1993, law enforcement officials have said.
Neither Amuah nor his lawyer were immediately available for comment but local media cited his lawyer as saying at the bail hearing that Amuah has denied the charges.
