The duo were arrested for allegedly managing money transfer for communication links of the Mumbai terror attackers.

Both Mohammad Yaqub Janjua and his son Aamer Yaqub had Red Corner Notices issued against them by Interpol for their suspected involvement.

Media reports said that the two were in the list of suspects in the Mumbai attack.

It is also believed that terror suspects David Headley and Tahawwur Rana may not know the duo arrested in Italy though they could be part of the larger plot of Mumbai terror attack. Meanwhile, an official reaction from the Pakistani government is still awaited.
