Currently I am: Filming Onir’s Shab, and Ashtar Sayed’s Matr, which deals with violence against women. I’m also promoting the cause of ‘education for all’ through P&G Shiksha

For Andaz Apna Apna’s (1994) remake, which two young male stars would you pick and why?

Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan for sure. I would love to see the two young actors tickling viewers’ funny bones.

A bikini body or Helen’s moves?

Helen aunty’s moves for sure, but I don’t think I could really match up to her.

One lesson about life that your father taught you.

To always speak up and stand up for who you are and what you believe in, even when you may need help.

Are your kids on social networks like Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat?

No. There’s a right age for everything and they are too young for this right now.

Your take on blind dates.

Life is all about taking that one chance. Otherwise, you’ll spend time wondering, what if?

If you had Karan Johar as a guest on your talk show, you would…

...get him to take part in his own rapid-fire round.

The best way to connect with fans today.

Social media, for sure.

The most romantic dance form for you is...

Tango is definitely the most passionate.

One person you want to take a selfie with.

Bruce Willis.

Are you a strict or a doting mother?

I’m an encouraging mother.

A parenting app that you use.

I feel that a joint family is the best gift for a child and no app can beat the values and love given by the grandparents.

Have you spoken to your kids about the birds and the bees?

Answering questions about sex is a responsibility that many parents dread, but I think it’s a very important part of their upbringing. They must also be taught about good touch and bad touch.

A problem that plagues modern love or relationships.

A lack of respect for your partner.

How would you explain Twitter to your grandma?

Instant vishesh tippani.

The best way to handle trolls is...

...to avoid and ignore them.

An item number you wish you could have been in.

Mera pyaar shalimar from Shalimar (1978).

Your thoughts about feminism.

Feminism is about demanding equal rights for women.

If you could be a superhero, which one would you choose to be?

A prominent change in Bollywood through the decades.

It has improved technically.

Her wave by Wale

A song that describes your current state of mind.

Come away with me by Norah Jones.
