Jitender Prasad (24) and Ram Chandra (30), both residents of Sunder Nagri, were returning home from Shadhara when their motorbike hit the divider at Tahirpur Road at around 11pm.

According to police, both of them were returning from Shadhara with Ram riding the bike. They were speeding which led to the bike collision against the divider. Locals rushed to the accident spot and informed the police.

A police team reached the spot and took them to a nearby hospital.

“Both of them succumbed to their injuries before making to the hospital. “We can’t believe that the bike collided with the divider. A vehicle must have hit the bike,” said Jitender’s brother.

The police are currently investigating the matter and the bodies of the victims have been handed over to their families. A case of rash and negligent driving causing deaths was registered.
