The board has decided to hold the practical exams after the written examination in view of the disruption caused by the agitation. The practical exams will now be held from March 30 to April 8, according to a board release. Though life is back to normal in most parts of the state, tension continues in a few areas. A number of schools – four in Rohtak town alone - were set ablaze or damaged in the stir-hit districts.
The written exams for secondary and senior secondary (classes 10th and 12th) will be held from March 8 as per schedule. The monthly internal exams for various classes in government schools were also disrupted in several districts by the 10-day long violent agitation by Jats who want reservation in government jobs and education in the state.
