The acting principal of Kirorimal College on Tuesday said that the vice president of DUSU, along with some ABVP activists, vandalised his office.

According to acting principal Dinesh Khattar, DUSU vice president Sunny Dedha had gone to the KMC principal’s office to ask for permission to use the college ground for holding a DUSU cultural event.

When the acting principal and the sports director refused to give them the ground, Dedha along with some ABVP activists went on the rampage and allegedly broke some tables and chairs and gheraoed Khattar, besides vandalising his office.

On Tuesday, Dedha came with 20-30 people and when I refused to give him the ground, he got angry and vandalised the office,” Khattar said.

The college filed a complaint against the act of vandalism.

Dedha refuted the allegations. “I had indeed gone to meet the KMC principal because we wanted the college ground to hold our event. After he refused, so I left the college. If anything happened after that, then I am, not aware of it. This is an attempt to defame me,” he said.
