Anna Dange appointed NCP vice president

Former minister in the Sena-BJP government Anna Dange was on Thursday appointed as the vice president of the state NCP.

Former minister in the Sena-BJP government Anna Dange was on Thursday appointed as the vice president of the state NCP.

Dange, belonging to the backward dhangar community and rural development minister in the Shiv Sena-BJP government,
had quit the BJP in 2002 after he was denied re-nomination to the legislative council where he was a member for 18 years.

He had formed Lokrajya party but in 2006, he joined the Nationalist Congress Party.
