Ajay Devgn right, movie reviews can be bought, says ‘MSG’ Dera Sacha Sauda chief

Amid the controversy after Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn accused director-producer Karan Johar of paying self-styled critic Kamaal R Khan Rs 25 lakh to criticise his film Shivaay, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has come out in support of Devgn. He said in Bollywood anybody can manipulate the movie, trailer reviews and any other data of a film.

He said in Bollywood anybody can manipulate the movie, trailer reviews and any other data of a film.

The dera chief was talking to mediapersons on the launch of his third movie trailer ‘MSG: the Warrior Lion Heart’ here on Monday. His third and latest, the movie is about a warrior who fought aliens 300 years ago.

Replying to a query, he said he had seen how people were ready to manipulate movie and trailer reviews for money in Bollywood.

“Devgn has raised his voice, if others do the same then there is a hope that there will fairness in reviews. I personally don’t care about the critics,” he said. The reviews of Dera chief’s previous movies by the film critics had been negative.

Meanwhile the trailer of ‘MSG: The Warrior Lion Heart’ will be released on YouTube on Monday night. The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

The dera chief expressed surprise that the government didn’t declare his movies tax-free as all had a social message.
