When Alia Bhatt talks about Valentine’s Day, we listen. Love has different meanings for different people - for some it could be a fun evening outdoors in nature, and for others, it could be a lavish gift. But the Dear Zindagi star says that even a small gift can be as special as a “limited edition”, if given with pure love.

The actress, who has given some remarkable performances in films like Udta Punjab and Highway, is a brand ambassador of Cornetto and recently launched their Red Velvet Limited edition ice cream. Giving her suggestions for gifts a woman can give to her beau, she says:

* Sneakers: All boys have a soft corner for the latest pair of kicks, and there is no such thing as too many sneakers. A pair of limited edition sneakers is sure to do the trick.

* Swiss army knife: This is for the outdoorsy, adventure-seeking man, while this is something on the pricey side it is something he will truly treasure on each trip.

Double-tap if you like choice as much as we do ☺️ #weirdape #duke

~ lacerating satire with a bit of farce thrown in. So clever and funny. The narrator recalling his Dad telling jokes at open-mike night had me laughing out loud, as did the politically correct title for Huckleberry Finn. Beatty is brilliant with metaphors; "...like any good social pyromaniac worth their accelerant, I returned to the scene of the crime...". This stream of consciousness book took me several chapters to 'get it', and it has a bit of everything; references to Latin, Kafka, A Tale of Two Cities, rap, Mendel's peas, Ken & Malibu Barbie vs Plantation Barbie, Orwell's Animal Farm, Obama, Rosa Parks, Dissociative Reactions, and so much more, as the main protagonist tries to re-segregate America, using fake signs and lines painted on roads. It's a crazy bizarre ride & as an Australian I estimate that about 30% of the references went over my head 😳🤔. But what a time to be holding up a mirror to humankind! And the reflection is not a comfortable one ~

* Books: A signed copy or a limited edition print of his favourite book would be his prized possession forever.
