Watch | Nepalese teen attempts record by stuffing 138 pencils in his mouth

A world record attempt has seen a Nepalese man stuff his mouth with an astonishing 138 pencils. The bizarre stunt was filmed on camera as evidence of 19-year-old Raja Thapa's claim to have the widest mouth in the world. His effort of 138 pencils crammed into his gob beats the previous claim by an Indian, Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya, who managed to squeeze 92 into his mouth in one sitting. And despite potentially smashing one record, Thapa refused to stop there, also managing to accommodate 32 lit candles between his teeth. Thapa said: “I want to be called the street hero of Nepal.”
