This group show by ten artists signifies the contemporary expression by discarding the romantic execution of ideas and including subjects in art. The Queens and Kings, the Gods and Goddesses and their decorative significance or village women, are replaced by day to day visuals and objects used in everyday life, including bygone days’ utensils. The participating artists include Akshay Puri, Amrit Kapoor, Anjali Jain and Dillip.

On till July 25 at Lalit Kala Academy, Gallery No. 5, Rabindra Bhawan.

Through the Kaleidoscope
The exhibition is Paris-based, Kerala-born artist, Akkitham Narayanan’s first show in the Capital.
