An exhibition in the city is showcasing photographic art prints by celebrated photographer Amit Pasricha.

Clicked by celebrated photographer Amit Pasricha, museum quality and limited photographic art prints of majestic monuments, landscapes, cultures and rituals in the country, are on display at an exhibition titled, Archiva: Photographic Art on Canvas, in the city.

“I am a panoramic photographer and this exhibition includes photographic prints from various travels and books by me. The treatment of these pictures is subtler and muted than the originals and these are being carried in large edition size,” says Pasricha, adding: “While original edition printscan go up in lakhs, these photographic prints can be purchased for anything between Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000. These prints are high quality and are guaranteed to last for over 100 years without fading or suffering environmental damage.”

The photographer specialises in panoramic digital photography, which is a technique that he has used in some of his books such as The Monumental India Book, The Sacred India Book, Mughal Architecture, and Dome Over India, among others.
